Performs advanced administrative tasks related to supervising the operations of a Library division.

The Library Associate position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the collaborative public service and research center designed to support the print & digital scholarship needs of Miami faculty, staff and students and researchers worldwide.
Requires the equivalent of an Associates’s degree and three years library experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience managing or supervisory experience in an academic library facility or service with a diverse staff.
Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), technologies related to digitalization processes.
Knowledge of library policies and procedures. Familiarity with care and use of rare and unique materials, archives and digital materials. Experience with the Academic degree and/or professional knowledge or experience working in an archive or a special library. Knowledge of computer and library related software.
